Presented by Pacific Arts Movement, the San Diego Asian Film Festival (SDAFF) has brought the best of Asian and Asian-American cinema to San Diego audiences since 2000. Originally a three-day festival at the University of San Diego, the festival now serves 15,000 attendees over the course of 10 days, and is widely recognized as the biggest showcase of Asian and Asian-American cinema on the west coast. In previous years, the festival has featured nearly 150 films from more than 15 countries, while drawing notable stars such as Randall Park, Constance Wu, Ken Jeong, George Takei and others.
The 18th edition of the SDAFF returns November 9-18, 2017 to theaters and venues around San Diego, including the UltraStar Cinemas at Hazard Center, the Natural History Museum, UC San Diego and more.
With direct, frequent service to the main stage at Hazard Center, attendees are encouraged to ride the MTS
Green Line to the show. Convenient bus service to Balboa Park and UC San Diego is also available. Day Passes can be easily downloaded using the Compass Cloud app.
