October is for kids in San Diego! Certain museums, attractions and restaurants in San Diego offer kids free admission (when going with a paying adult) in October. Plus, you can stack the savings when you take transit. Kids always get free rides with our Youth Opportunity Pass program (only available on PRONTO), while kids 12 and under can ride free on weekends with a paying adult (no PRONTO card needed). It's a win-win for families and anyone visiting San Diego in October. Here's our look at the Kids Free places that are easily accessible by transit.

To take part in Kids Free October at San Diego Museums, you'll need to visit the San Diego Museum Council website and download the coupon or use a promo code to purchase tickets in advance.

For most offers, up to two kids ages 12 and under can go free with a paid adult. Offers may vary. Please check the website's deals for more information. Families must download the free coupon for every museum they wish to visit and present it at the participating museum's admissions desk. Special exhibitions may require an additional fee.
