The most unexpected, unscripted, and unforgettable motorsports experience for families and fans in the world today returns to San Diego with the Monster Jam events at Snapdragon Stadium for two adrenaline-charged weekends on January 4 & 5, 2024 followed by January 11 & 12, 2025.

The fun begins at the Monster Jam® Pit Party, where you can see the massive trucks up close, meet your favorite drivers and crews, get autographs and take pictures. Additional tickets required for the Pit Party.

Here are some pro tips for taking transit to Monster Jam:

Plenty of free parking is available at Old Town, Santee Town Center, and more. Use our free Park & Ride lots to save on parking and avoid traffic!

Contactless Payment is here! If you only use transit for special events, then you no longer need to worry about getting a PRONTO card. Simply tap your payment on a validator and be on your way! Visit our Ways to Pay page for information on accepted payment types. Limit one payment type per person.

Use the PRONTO app: Download the app and add money to ride anytime! (Limit one person per app.)

If purchasing your fare at a ticket machine on gameday, don't buy a one-way fare. Instead, buy or reload a PRONTO card with $5, which will cover your round-trip. (If you purchase a one-way ticket pre-game, you may be stuck in a long line post-game to buy another one-way ticket.)

Validators will be located on the ramps leading up to the station, and the station platforms. Tap or scan before you board. Each person will need their own PRONTO card or app.

Kids ride free! Take advantage of the MTS Youth Opportunity Pass or Family Weekends (two kids 12 and under ride free with an adult, no PRONTO card needed) promotions.

Trolley Service to Monster Jam
- Pre-Event: All Trolley Lines will provide regular service pre-event.
- Post-Event: Regular Green Line service will be operating every 15 minutes westbound (to 12th & Imperial) and eastbound every 15 minutes to El Cajon. Extra trains will be available to provide additional trips as necessary.
