Diversion Program Eligibility

Answer the following three (3) questions to find out if your MTS citation is eligible for the MTS Diversion Program. If your citation qualifies, you will receive a link to pay the $25 Fare Diversion fine online. You are responsible to input accurate citation information in the form below. Only citations that include one (1) fare evasion violation are eligible for Diversion. Payments for eligible citations are not refundable.

If your citation has more than 1 violation listed, it does not qualify for the Diversion Program and it must be resolved with the San Diego Superior Court promptly in order to avoid any potential late fees or additional penalties. If citation is not eligible for Diversion, do not pay $25 fine to MTS and instead contact the Court to resolve.
